As a firefighterveteran you need to know that these people have "their boots muddy" from having "walked the ground we work on" and witnessed and worked through the "blood sweat and fears" of what it is we do.
This is a program that is "not for everyone" and you must do the intake process which they will screen with you. There is no need to "suffer in the emotional basement of your pain and woundedness" from what you have witnessed and been a part of in service to others. It is not a program for the faint hearted. You will be doing work like no other along with others in your peer group, you will get information and results.
It is head, heart and gut work where you need it most. Be ready to go well beyond the "emotional fire line" and be prepared to "stand in the center of the fire" with others who have been where you are now.
