NAFFVN Army Ready You Tube Video on Depression and Suicide Awarness:

Up to date news worth watching: Stepping up for ptsd awareness Army Wives bare it all....when the souls of their partners are surrounded by ptsd reactions.

A video for the Fire Service that address the issue of "Command and Leadership". See the Peggy Sweeney article on Fire Chiefs, what they need to know. You would think that being part of the "Homeland" defence, that fire department leadership would get the big "IT" when it comes time to lead on the subject of depression and suicide. The Emergency Symposium on Depression and Suicide was held in Baltimore Md over two years ago. Where have we gone from there? NAFFVN was invited by the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation to attend and from there this web site has added information and resources to fight back on the subject. We have a long way to go regarding "fire service leadership" in this area but, we are taking the steps to understanding through educational outreach. View the video and read the "Peggy Sweeney Article".
